Organizing B2B Meetings for Export Promotion Office

Export Promotion Office is a consultative and advisory body under the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, created as a “single window” of assistance to Ukrainian exporters in entering foreign markets. The strategic goal of the Office is to help Ukrainian business to be successful in foreign markets.

Vimes Consulting tasks:
Organizing B2B meetings in the UK during the Ukraine Week in London event for Ukrainian furniture and food manufacturers. The purpose of the meetings was to build relationships with potential buyers, customers and partners in the UK. Conditions:

  • Organization of at least three B2B meetings with potential buyers, customers, partners from the UK for each of the Ukrainian participating companies
  • Development and implementation of the training “How to enter the British market” for Ukrainian companies-members of the delegation from Ukraine

Project results:
We had been actively supporting the EPO team in conducting interviews with potential Ukrainian participants who applied for the Ukrainian week in London, and selected 14 companies from 40 applicants. These enterprises represented two areas – food and furniture. We actively communicated with all the participants in preparation for meetings with buyers on October 9, 2018. All participants received detailed information on meetings, profiles of potential British partners, as well as instructions before traveling to London. In preparation for the meetings, Dmitry Gilgur, director of Vimes Consulting, conducted a webinar training on “How to enter the UK market.” The webinar was attended by companies that are part of the delegation, as well as other participants.

In addition, we organized meetings for Ukrainian manufacturers with three industry experts (two in the field of food and one in the field of furniture) with more than 25 years of experience.
